Exped Waterbloc Sleeping Bags

Exped holds the patent for the welded baffle technology that makes these bags possible. Instead of the traditional sewn baffles, the Waterbloc series uses baffles that are welded to the shell, eliminating the stitch holes that allow water into the bag to wet the down. The shell material is waterproof and vapor permeable Pertex Endurance nylon. The zipper is double flapped to keep moisture out.

The series includes four models, Waterbloc 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 and range from a solid three season bag to an expedition bag for ultra-cold trips (Waterbloc 1200 shown in the photos above). These sleeping bags are great for snow caves and igloos, sleeping under tarps in rainy weather, and long trips where condensation takes its toll on the loft of the down over time.

Sleep well!
