Exped Ergo Hammock Combi - New for Spring 2012

One of Exped's new products on the way in spring of 2012 is the Ergo Hammock Combi, a patent pending, innovative approach to suspended sleeping. The Ergo's asymmetrical design easily allows the sleeper to maintain a comfortable and flat back or side sleeping position. The Ergo won the coveted Gold Award at the recent OutDoor Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany where outdoor gear companies gather to introduce new products for the upcoming year. Because of the award, the Ergo Hammock Combi has been written up in many blogs and forums - but remember, it won't be available in specialty outdoor stores until the middle of March 2012. We're very excited about the Ergo and thought we should share some of its specs here on our blog to help with questions that are arising.

The Ergo will be a great solo shelter for all sorts of adventures, from paddling trips to through-hiking and will perform very well in a wide variety of climates and weather conditions. The large asymmetrical tarp provides ample refuge from rain and sun and can be battened down when the wind comes up.

This is going to be a fun and comfortable shelter to hang around in. Look for it in March of 2012!
