Berry picking time in the Cascades

Here in the Pacific Northwest, where Exped LLC makes its home, fall marks a very special time in the mountains - berry picking time. Blueberries, Huckleberries, Salmonberries, Salal berries and Thimbleberries make it very difficult to get on down the trail. Frequent stops to dive into the bushes in search of that perfect, juicy morsel are the norm in September and October, as are blue stained teeth, tongues, lips, hands and clothes. It's a glorious season in the high places made all the better by the more resourceful among us - those super-humans who put those berries in jars for later.

See you out there!
